There are very few people who have the ability to make complex things simple as well as being able to present them in a professional and entertaining way. To do this you need a combination of broad experience, the art of communicating and the
ability to keep an audience entertained. Roger Price has all of these skills – and more. He was born in 1940, on a gold mine just outside of Johannesburg South Africa, in the middle of an air raid. From his very early childhood he showed the ability to make people smile and keep them entertained.

He was educated in British schools, is a graduate of the world famous Rhodes University and has acquired degrees, diplomas and certification from several other Universities, in many other disciplines over the years. He became involved in the Theatre while very young and with a rich and beautiful speaking and singing voice spent 30 years entertaining in an amateur capacity, while studying many and varied areas of pharmacy, medicine, dentistry, orthodontics, sleep disorders,
psychology, behaviour, homeopathy, Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda and other aspects of human health.

This broad education, which is still ongoing, gives him an excellent perspective and a world view of the Western medical system – with its benefits as well as its disadvantages.

In 1980 he moved his family from South Africa to Australia where he became recognized in the field of respiratory physiology with his work with asthmatics. He trained with Konstantin Buteyko and he improved on his methodology by incorporating Capnometry into the basic principles of restoring normal breathing patterns.

In 2013 he moved to the United States where he turned the world of Sleep Disordered Breathing upside down explaining that in the majority of cases people did not wake up because they could not ‘Sleep’. They woke up because they could not ‘Breathe’. In 2000 he created the term ‘Breathing Disordered Sleep’ which is now becoming more and more widely used.

This radical concept goes a long way to explain why the current Gold Standards for treating ‘Sleep Disorders’ have such a poor outcome.

Janna KremezJanna's programs are designed to assist in addressing mouth breathing, abnormal breathing during sleep (snoring and other sleep-related breathing problems), incorrect tongue posture/function, thumb sucking and other oral habits that cause the misalignment of teeth and deformed jaws. She also helps clients with head and neck trauma, TMJ (jaw joint) dysfunction, trichotillomania, stroke and Bell’s palsy.

Janna has been studying the physiology of breathing and myofunctional therapy since 2010. She learnt Buteyko method directly from Prof Buteyko's student in his home country and in the original language. Janna's teacher, Dr Mikhaylo Khrustanka, who has over 30 years' experience helping people with breathing difficulties, is still her mentor and guide on this journey.

Janna's training in myofunctional therapy (aka orofacial myology or orofacial myofunctional therapy) was completed through the graduate Schools of Behavioural Health Sciences in the USA guided and mentored by one of the leading practitioners orofacial myology — Sandra Coulson.

Dr. Maria Borisovna Vasilieva, candidate of medical sciences, hereditary fourth-generation dentist. The main goal is not only to give patients a beautiful smile, but primarily a long-term stable result. The main specialization in orthodontics is an interdisciplinary approach: normalization of occlusion pathology taking into account postural features (primarily posture), treatment of TMJ dysfunctions, foot pathology, the relationship of occlusion, diseases of internal organs and psychosomatics. Professional experience as an orthodontist for more than 20 years, an interdisciplinary approach of about 17 years, is taught at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN). For about 5 years, Maria Borisovna has been practicing and studying applied kinesiology and osteopathy. The clinic has built an algorithm for receiving patients with an analysis of not only occlusal problems and TMJs, but also postures, feet, and much more. Also, Maria Borisovna since 2009. He is an international certified lecturer, a member of many significant world organizations: the World Federation of Orthodontists, the European and Russian Association of Orthodontists, a member of MAPO (Medical Association of Professional Osteopaths), IFUNA (International Functional Association), etc. He has extensive experience in conducting seminars and reports at international congresses and conferences: Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Thailand, China, South Korea, Lebanon, India, Australia, Japan, etc. That allows not only to learn, but also to learn from the best specialists. She has also completed a series of masters programs in Correct Alignment Technique, Invisible Orthodontics and SureSmile Advanced Training Program, from Orametrix Research Centre in Dallas.

The Ortho Institute Concept means a great step forward in modern orthodontic treatment. We believe that crooked teeth are not a problem, but a symptom caused by a lack of balance in a certain area of the face or of the organism, hence, our treatment is a holistic one.

Dr. Ela B. Otis is a member of the scientific committee of the London School of Facial Orthotropics, founded by John Mew in 1983. Orthopropy in dentistry has emerged as an alternative to traditional (modern) orthodontic therapy and is aimed at preventing occlusion anomalies, improving the growth and development of the face and jaw. Removable orthopedic constructions are used in combination with myofunctional exercises and correction of behavioral habits.

As part of our work, we are starting an information block dedicated to Orthotropia.
